Decolonising NVC: an open call series

Please join POC4NVC for a return to our open call series, exploring the principles of Non-Violent Communication from the lens of black, indigenous, and people of color practitioner perspectives (BIPOC).
In this talk, panelists will explore what it means to decolonize their practice.

- Is it possible to remove the impacts of settler-colonial behavior from our own communication patterns? What are we moving towards and what are we returning to?
- How do we understand the principles and practice of non-violence within the context of our current global pandemic, in which settler-state policies directly and disproportionately result in black, brown, and indigenous loss of life?

This call is the second in a developing series to create a space for marginalized voices to be centered and honored within the NVC community. Real-time captioning will be available for this call.
Suggested donation is $25 USD - no one turned away for lack of funds. All proceeds will go towards POC4NVC and funding our first NVC retreat for people..
